     Hello and welcome to my webpage. My name is Michael and my QTH is in
Palmdale, CA USA. My ham radio callsign is KF6RDO. I really enjoy working
stations on HF and VHF/UHF. I love to work those DX stations! My class of license is
General. My 2 favorite bands are 10 meters and 6 meters. I also like to
participate in the VHF/UHF contests. I have been working the contests from my home

The picture to the left is a picture of my antenna tower before the new addition to the antenna farm. Antenna from the top to the bottom: 440 MHz Log, 719B 432/440 MHz Beam A148-20T 2m Cross Yagi Beam, and last is the Cushcraft A50-5S 6m 5 elm Yagi.

I obtained a 42 ft Tri-Ex THD-542 crank up tower to hold up  my new Force12 C-4 10-40 meter beam! The tower is now set in cement. We will be guying the tower with 1/4" kevlar! Man, these guy wires will hold my tower in place for decades!

Here is a photo of my new Force12 C-4 beam on my new
42 foot crank up tower! YES! It performs just as good as
it looks. No, on second thought, even BETTER!
